Love the stories, my 6 & 4 year olds love the stories. Some people would say they are old fashioned or a little legalistic in some of the stories but it I find it gives me a great opportunity to explain teachings, views and even terminologies that I grew up with but is sadly being lost and untaught in the churches today. Children's teachings have been watered down so much today, the lines of conviction and christian living greyed that it's actually refreshing to read something where black is black, and white is white. I'm the parent, I can stop and explain anything that is needed. I like that. It encourages conversation about things with my kids.Very nice book for children. Great priceThis is a great book my kids read it over and over again I enjoy it myself. This is a must have in the house....Awesome!I bought the whole set of these a couple years ago. We read them for devotionals at night as a family. They have short little stories that usually didn't take long but they make you think. So they are great if you have a family of mixed ages. Once in a while there will be a long story but all the stories are marked whether they are short or long.The stories are also based in the past so you are learning a bit of history as well. We learned a lot through reading them.Excellent Christ centered stories with scripture reading. Each story has a personal application and questions for children to examine themselves in light of Biblical truth. Great for daily devotions with elementary school age and older children.
