I sent this to a friend of mine, she has a five year old son, he put together in about 15 minutes, very happy chappy.A fun little LEGO set with lots of playability. With a very large piece to price ratio, you can't go wrong with this set. Add some enjoyment to your bricker's day by purchasing this set.The truck that comes with this set is actually quite large and very durable... so for those rough brickers out there (like my 3 year old son), this truck should hold up just fine. The truck is also large enough to hold a small ATV vehicle in the bed. The truck has two ramps that go up and down to assist in the loading process of the ATV.The trailer hooks up to the truck and can haul the other ATV that comes with the set. The trailer as well has two ramps to help with loading and unloading the ATVs.The two minifigs that come with this set are pretty standard, however, they do the trick. All in all, I would recommend this set. Though the set retails at $19.99, I would suggest waiting to find it for at least 20% off. If you're lucky, you might even find it for 30-40% off which makes this set a 'definite' buy.Great set with lots of playability. If my review was helpful, please click on 'helpful' below. I love the ramps on both the truck and the trailer. I haven't had a set like this in a number of years, and was happy to see they improved the trailer connection. it feels more like a real trailer would at this scale. Took me about an hour to put it all together. My son loves his LegosMy grandson enjoyed building this.We have become Lego freaks as of late, the grandkids are really getting into building and creating their own projects, This set was so much fun to put together as a family, I have the kids find each piece as it's needed, and use the instruction book to help put it in the correct place. Even at ages 5 & 7 they are able to follow the directions, which are detailed, easy to follow, pictures. We started by building the ATV's first and of course the minifigs, (we lost the 5 yr old here, because the ATVs were just too much fun ). Then we built the truck and trailer. Once assembled it is a very sturdy piece, the kids drive the truck and trailer all around as well as the ATVs, and we have t lost any pieces.we have a lot of new sets and this is by far their favorite. I think we may need to purchase a second set !! Highly recommend.. fun for the whole familyGot it for our grandsons ages 4&6. They couldn’t wait to open it and start putting it together. All of the prices were there. The only problem is that the piece that fits on the top of the truck(roof) was too big. It just falls off and is too long to snap in place properly. I tried a bunch of different ways with my son.My boys, four and seven years old, were happy over the moon to get their hands on this set. Honestly, any Lego set makes them jump. The biggest surprise was that four years old was able to make it on his own.Quite a milestone, I would say, when you realize that your little boy doesn't need your help in Lego!Lego makes superb buildings sets that show exceptional quality and perfection in every single detail, and there is nothing on the market that comes close to that level. And special kudos to the detailed instructions, that so easy to understand and follow, that four-year-old kid could make it without adult's help. Not to mention that Lego is a perfect tool to bring out creativity, imagination, dexterity and enormously helps to build fine motor skills..If my review was helpful at all, please click the "Helpful" smiley button below. Our two boys are now at the age where they can build these Lego sets on their own, and they love them. Keeps them occupied in building the set, and they will then play with and adapt the sets as they go along. Storage of completed sets to avoid damage I guess would be the only 'con', but its a minor one on the grand scheme of things.Lego is one of those rare toys I don't mind buying - our kids always come back to their Lego sets, and will sit building new things for hours at a time from their imaginations. Much rather buy toys like this than the usual plastic tut that gets an hour of attention, and then just takes up space in the house for years without ever being played with again. This set was easy enough to build, our eight year old did it all himself with no help needed from dad any more. Just wish these sets were a bit cheaper - Lego seems to have gotten so expensive over the years! The book was incomplete. 20 duplicate pages and 20 missing pages. Lego was great, shipping out a new book, but took about a month. Went to online and had to print the missing pages, costing ink. No fault with the seller, it was a Lego error. The box was perfect and nothing the seller could have known. Just disappointing for a 5 year old trying to put together. Will buy from seller again. Shipping and the purchase was perfect.Christmas is expensive, and lots of people to buy for, so we try not to spend too much on the gifts. I think this one was great because our nephew could build it, and then had a truck and two ATVs to play with. This is a great set for the price, can actually play with it once it's built (unlike a building).I purchased this item as a Christmas present for a young boy (10). I grew up with Lego and loved it than, but WOW has it ever come a long way since my younger days! Tons of selection! I find it a little pricey (I usually watch for sales), but when you consider that it provides hours of entertainment, away from anything electronic, well the pros far exceed the cons.
