But I thought this book would have the detailed plans included.nice bookNot much to say about this series of books, but if you are looking for ideas on what kind of boat to build, this will fill your head with ideas.I have bought this book because of curiosity. Now I know I'll buy another 2 pieces. Book gives very short and so necessary description of each type of boats. If somebody wants to find in there very precise description of activities and in proper order those should be taken this book is not for those people. I wouldn't say this book is for those who commenced and did not finished there first canoe yet. At least experience of one boat built should be in possession. Anyway the experience ought to be.This is a fairly special interest book - so if you are looking at this - you probably already have the previous book. It is as good. Nice drawings of nice boats.If you love wooden boats or have ever hankered after building one, these and the other 2 volumes are inspiring and a pure pleasure to dip into.book is a bit oldI also purchased the Forty and Fifty wooden boats books and they made me dream about building one of them all winter long.Those are great books to dream on or to actually target which one would best fit your needs. There is a small history and a description about each one of them.
