Great build alot of fun details on every level.This set was well designed, with good quality, tight-fastening pieces. The instructions were very well illustrated and easily understandable. The set was priced far better than a leading well-known set builder, whose sets are sadly becoming (and some already are) unaffordable.The only downsides were one 1x1 flat piece that was a slightly different color from what it should've been, but which was barely even noticeable when installed into a wall. Also, a clear round plant 'vase' piece was called for in the instructions but was in actuality replaced in the available set pieces with a larger clear 'fishbowl' shaped one, which prevented it from being put on the mantlepiece on the first floor of the set. However, I didn't feel this was a big problem and it didn't detract from the build. These two minor issues are why I didn't give the set an overall 5-star rating, but which would otherwise deserve it in my opinion.I definitely recommend this set for a growing city!As an avid AFOL, I've been looking for something comparable to Lego's modulars to fill out the street. The size, the build, the stickers, even the full color instructions are all perfect. The bricks feel sturdy, not cheap like some KO's. Only minor nitpick is that a couple stickers cover multiple pieces which is a no-no in official lego, but I'm okay with it. Overall, great set that fits in perfectly with other modulars.As a AFOL I've put together lots of genuine and now a few not genuine sets. I'm a stylist and loved the fact this was a salon/barber shop... However the instructions weren't as clear as most other sets I've done, was missing several important pieces, and more than a few pieces weren't the right color to match the rest of it... But I managed to get it put together and since it was so affordable I don't regret buying at this price... But I wouldn't pay more than $50ish for itLove this modular Music Store! It is a really big set with lots of pieces. There is so much attention to detail. The spiral staircase is really neat, and so many great little things about the set make it a lot of fun.I would not recommend this set for kids because it is a challenging build. The directions are fantastic though, it just takes a long time to construct and has lots of tiny pieces to put in place. Also, it has a whole sheet of decals to be put on.Overall, totally amazing set!!!
